ClinicLayer ("we," "us," or "our") operates cliniclayer.co. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using ClinicLayer, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Information you provide. If you sign up for our email newsletter, we collect your email address. We do not require account registration to use ClinicLayer.
Automatically collected information. When you visit ClinicLayer, we automatically collect certain information through third-party analytics services, including: pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URL, browser type, operating system, and approximate geographic location (country/city level, not precise location). We do not collect your name, address, or precise personal identifiers through this automatic collection.
Affiliate click data. When you click an affiliate link, we and our affiliate network partners (Katalys/RevOffers, CJ Affiliate, FlexOffers, Impact.com) collect data about that click, including the page you clicked from, the time of click, and whether a purchase was subsequently made. This data is used to calculate affiliate commissions. We do not have access to your purchase information, payment details, or the personal information you provide to third-party clinics.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to: operate and improve the ClinicLayer website; send email newsletters if you have subscribed; calculate affiliate commissions with our network partners; comply with legal obligations; and analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve our content and rankings.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your email address with third parties except our email service provider (Beehiiv) for the purpose of sending newsletters you have opted into.
Third-party services we use
The following third-party services process data on our behalf or in connection with your use of ClinicLayer:
Google Analytics 4 (GA4). We use GA4 to measure website traffic and usage patterns. Google may use this data in accordance with Google's privacy policy. You can opt out of GA4 tracking using Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Katalys / RevOffers. Our primary affiliate network. Katalys places a tracking pixel on ClinicLayer to attribute clicks and conversions. Katalys privacy policy: katalys.com.
FlexOffers and Impact.com. Additional affiliate networks we participate in. Both place tracking pixels on ClinicLayer.
Beehiiv. Our email newsletter platform. If you subscribe to our newsletter, Beehiiv stores your email address and tracks newsletter engagement. Beehiiv privacy policy: beehiiv.com.
Vercel. Our hosting provider. Vercel may collect server logs including IP addresses. Vercel privacy policy: vercel.com.
Cookies and tracking
ClinicLayer and our third-party partners use cookies and similar tracking technologies for: analytics (measuring traffic and usage); affiliate tracking (attributing clicks and conversions to ClinicLayer); and functionality (remembering your preferences).
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site functionality and will prevent affiliate tracking from functioning, but will not affect your ability to use ClinicLayer's content.
Your rights
California residents (CCPA). If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how it is used; request deletion of your personal information; opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell personal information); and non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.
EEA/UK residents (GDPR). If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have rights including: access to your personal data; correction of inaccurate data; deletion of your data; restriction of processing; data portability; and the right to object to processing.

Data retention
Email newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics providers' standard retention periods. Affiliate click data is retained for up to 24 months for commission calculation and dispute resolution purposes.
Children's privacy
ClinicLayer is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please let us know at support@cliniclayer.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will post the updated policy on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated via notice on the ClinicLayer homepage or via email to newsletter subscribers.
